In addition to sign distance and the size of your sign lettering, you also need to pay attention to other factors that may affect sign visibility. These include:

Font – The more unique your font, the harder it may be to see from a distance. Keep this in mind if you have decided to consider a more stylish font selection.
Design Elements – The more design elements that are involved, the “Busier” the sign can be. Multiple colors can have a distracting effect that may make it harder to see signs from far away.
