One-Way Vision Window Graphics for Storefronts, Offices and Commercial Glass
Signs New York designs, prints, laminates, and installs perforated window vinyl for storefronts, restaurants, offices, gyms, medical practices, retail spaces, and commercial buildings across NYC. Perforated vinyl lets you display full-color graphics on the outside of your glass while still allowing visibility from the inside.
Also known as one-way vision window film or see-through window graphics, perforated vinyl is ideal for businesses that want advertising, privacy, and natural light at the same time. We print in-house, recommend the right perforation ratio, and install the graphics professionally across all five boroughs and the tri-state area.

Custom Perforated Window Graphics for Businesses
Perforated window graphics are printed vinyl films with thousands of small holes across the surface. The printed side faces outward and displays your branding, advertising, product images, promotions, or custom artwork to people outside. From inside, the perforations allow you to see through the glass.
This makes perforated vinyl a smart choice for storefronts and street-facing windows. You can use your glass for marketing without completely blocking the view, closing off the interior, or losing all daylight. It works well for retail stores, restaurants, offices, gyms, clinics, salons, pop-ups, and commercial spaces that want window coverage with a more open feel.

Perforated Window Graphics We’ve Produced and Installed
From retail storefronts and restaurant windows to office glass, gyms, clinics, and pop-up spaces, our perforated vinyl projects are built around visibility, privacy, and clean installation. Each window is measured, printed, laminated, and installed to fit the glass, brand, and viewing distance.
Why Businesses Use Perforated Window Vinyl
Perforated window vinyl gives businesses a way to turn unused glass into visible advertising space. Instead of leaving large windows blank, you can use them for brand graphics, product photography, campaign messaging, privacy, and seasonal promotions.
It is especially useful in NYC, where storefront visibility matters and every street-facing surface has value. A well-designed perforated window graphic can help promote your business from the sidewalk while still keeping the interior usable for staff, customers, and daily operations.
Street-Facing Advertising
Use storefront windows to promote your brand, products, services, seasonal offers, or campaign visuals. Perforated vinyl gives your business a strong exterior presence without permanently changing the glass.
Privacy Without Fully Blocking Light
Perforated vinyl can reduce visibility into your space during the day while still letting natural light pass through. This is useful for gyms, clinics, offices, salons, restaurants, and customer-facing spaces.
Large Glass Branding
Big windows can carry full-color photography, oversized logos, brand graphics, patterns, or promotional artwork. This gives your storefront a cleaner and more finished appearance from the street.
Short-Term Promotions
Perforated window graphics can be used for product launches, limited-time offers, pop-ups, events, grand openings, seasonal campaigns, and retail promotions.
Better Use of Blank Windows
If your glass is currently empty or covered with posters, perforated vinyl gives the window a cleaner, more professional look while making better use of the available space.
Covers Interior Clutter
Perforated vinyl helps reduce the view into storage areas, work zones, shelves, equipment, or unfinished interiors while still keeping the window active from the street. This is useful for businesses that want a cleaner exterior look without blocking the glass completely.
Selecting the Best Perforation Ratio for Your Windows
Perforated vinyl comes in different ratios that control the balance between outside graphic strength and inside visibility. We help recommend the right option based on your glass, lighting, viewing distance, business type, and project goal.

50/50 Perforated Vinyl
50/50 perforated vinyl has the most open pattern. It allows more light and visibility from inside, making it a good choice when the view out of the window matters most.
Best For:
- Office Windows
- Businesses that want more daylight
- Windows where visibility from inside is important

60/40 Perforated Vinyl
Best For:
- Retail storefronts
- Restaurants and cafés
- Street-facing offices

70/30 Perforated Vinyl
Best For:

Your Local Window Graphics Company in NYC
Signs New York is a local large format graphics and window wrap company serving businesses, property managers, designers, and organizations across New York City. We understand the pace and constraints of NYC projects, including tight timelines, building access, sidewalk visibility, storefront hours, and multi-location coordination.
From one storefront window to a full building frontage, we help manage the details from design to installation. Our team can also produce matching graphics for doors, walls, elevators, vehicles, lobby areas, and other branded surfaces so your business has a consistent visual presence.

How We Produce Perforated Window Graphics
We assess the window, confirm measurements, review the artwork, and make sure the graphic is suitable for perforated vinyl before production begins. This helps avoid installation issues and ensures the finished graphic looks as intended.
Site Survey
We start by reviewing photos, window dimensions, glass location, business type, viewing distance, and project goals. We also recommend the appropriate perforation ratio and confirm artwork requirements before production.
Design & Quote
Your artwork is prepared for the final window size and viewing distance. We review logo placement, image quality, text size, bleed, panel breaks, and any areas that may be affected by mullions, door frames, handles, or window seams.
Print Production
The graphics are printed in-house and laminated with optically clear laminate when needed for exterior durability and better protection. Materials are prepared to the final specifications before installation.
Professional Installation
Before installation, the glass is cleaned and prepared so the film can bond properly. The vinyl is then installed, aligned to the glass, applied smoothly, trimmed cleanly, and finished around the edges while accommodating storefront hours, access needs, and building requirements.
Where Perforated Window Vinyl Works Best
Perforated window vinyl works well on glass surfaces where you want branding or advertising outside without completely blocking the view from inside. The material is printed with your design on the exterior-facing side, while thousands of small perforations allow light to pass through the glass. From the street, customers see a full-color graphic that can promote your brand, products, services, or special offers.
Use storefront windows for product photography, sales campaigns, brand graphics, seasonal promotions, and full-window advertising.
Show food photography, menu promotions, brand visuals, hours, specials, and exterior-facing graphics while keeping the interior from feeling blocked off.
Office Windows

Add privacy and professional branding to street-facing windows while still allowing daylight into the space.
Salons and Spas
Create a more private client experience while using the glass for branding, service promotion, and visual presentation.

How To Care for Perforated Window Graphics
Cleaning
Wipe gently with a soft damp cloth and mild soap. Never use abrasive pads, brushes, or pressure washers — they can enlarge the perforations and damage the laminate. The optically clear overlaminate protects the holes from filling with dirt, but aggressive cleaning defeats that protection.
Longevity
2–4 years on exterior glass with lamination, depending on sun exposure, weather, and cleaning frequency. South-facing windows in direct sun age fastest. The perforations create more edges for UV to attack than solid vinyl — this is the nature of the material. Properly sealed edges extend lifespan significantly.
Removal
Perforated vinyl removes cleanly from glass with heat and slow peeling. Glass is non-porous — no surface damage. The optically clear laminate comes off with the vinyl as one piece. Any adhesive residue is cleaned with IPA or commercial remover. Faster and cleaner than removing wall vinyl.
