Overview
What is Vinyl?
Vinyl is a thin, flexible PVC film with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing — the most versatile material in the signage toolkit. It can be plotter-cut into letters and shapes or digitally printed with full-color graphics, then applied to walls, windows, vehicles, floors, and more.
It comes in two main grades: calendered vinyl, a thicker, economical film ideal for flat surfaces and shorter-term use, and cast vinyl, a thin, conformable premium film that hugs curves and rivets for long-term vehicle wraps. Choosing the right grade and laminate determines whether a graphic lasts months or many years.
