The Most Overlooked Branding Surface in Any Multi-Story Building
Elevator doors are seen by every person on every floor, every time they walk past — tenants, visitors, delivery crews, cleaning staff. No other surface in a building gets that kind of guaranteed, repeated visibility. And in most buildings, those doors are doing absolutely nothing with it.
We wrap elevator doors with two types of vinyl: custom printed graphics for branding, campaigns, and wayfinding — and architectural finish films like 3M DI-NOC that resurface worn, scratched, or outdated doors with textured vinyl that looks and feels like wood grain, brushed metal, or stone. Most door wraps install in under an hour per set without taking the elevator out of service.
Elevator doors are also one of the more technically demanding surfaces to wrap. They’re stainless steel or powder-coated metal that needs proper degreasing before vinyl will bond. They open and close thousands of times a day, so the wrap has to be aligned to the door gap precisely. Sensors, call buttons, inspection certificates, and emergency equipment must stay uncovered. We survey every elevator in person before we quote — there’s no shortcut for that.
